Dear Students, Prospective Students, and Friends of A.I.C. Masinga Bible College,
It is my great joy to welcome you to A.I.C. Masinga Bible College, a community committed to biblical truth, spiritual formation, academic excellence, and preparation for faithful Christian service.
Whether you are already a student or are prayerfully considering joining us, I want you to know that you are welcome. Masinga is more than a place where you acquire theological knowledge. It is a community where you are encouraged to know Christ, grow in His Word, develop Christian character, discover your gifts, and prepare yourself for effective ministry.
As the Deputy Principal in charge of Student Affairs, my office is committed to the welfare and holistic development of every student. We recognize that students come from different backgrounds and that each person carries unique experiences, responsibilities, strengths, and challenges. We therefore seek to create an environment where students can be heard, supported, guided, and encouraged as they pursue their studies and calling.
Student life at Masinga extends beyond the classroom. Through chapel, Bible study, prayer, Student Ministries, leadership opportunities, fellowship, practical ministry, and extracurricular activities, students are given opportunities to grow spiritually, socially, academically, and personally.
We value discipline, respect, accountability, servant leadership, stewardship, and care for one another. These are not merely institutional expectations; they are qualities that should characterize every follower and servant of Christ.
To our prospective students, I encourage you to prayerfully consider making Masinga part of your journey of preparation for ministry. Student Welfare
At A.I.C. Masinga Bible College, student welfare is approached with care, compassion, and love, recognizing that theological education involves the development of the whole person. The College seeks to provide an environment in which students can grow academically, spiritually, socially, and personally.
The Students' Council plays an important role in promoting student welfare and addressing matters that arise within the student community. Through the Council, students are given opportunities to participate in leadership, develop problem-solving skills, and learn to handle matters responsibly and constructively. This approach provides practical leadership experience while preparing students for effective service in the Church and society.
Where a matter requires further attention or cannot be adequately addressed within the student community, it is referred to the Office of the Deputy Principal, which is responsible for overseeing student affairs and handling matters relating to student welfare. The Deputy Principal works with students to listen to their concerns, provide appropriate guidance, and seek solutions that promote their well-being and uphold the values of the College.
Through this approach, A.I.C. Masinga Bible College seeks to cultivate a caring, supportive, and responsible community in which students learn not only through formal classroom instruction but also through relationships, leadership, service, and practical experiences.

Personal Spiritual Growth
At A.I.C. Masinga Bible College, we believe that theological education must go beyond the acquisition of knowledge. Our desire is to see students develop a genuine and growing relationship with God, characterized by prayer, obedience, spiritual discipline, and a deep love for His Word.
The demands of academic study and community life can sometimes create the danger of studying about God without truly knowing Him. Students are therefore encouraged to intentionally cultivate their personal walk with God by setting aside time each day for individual prayer, Bible reading, worship, and personal reflection.
The College provides a Prayer Chapel where students can retreat for personal prayer, worship, meditation on Scripture, and spiritual reflection.
Community Prayer
Every Friday morning from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., students gather in their respective dormitories for a dedicated time of prayer. Both ladies and gentlemen participate, and attendance is expected of all students.
These times of prayer provide an opportunity for students to seek God together, intercede for one another, pray for the Church and the world, and commit their lives and ministry to God's purposes.
At Masinga, we seek to train students not merely to know about God, but to know God, walk with Him, and serve Him faithfully.
Chapel
Chapel services are at the heart of the spiritual life of the College, bringing the community together for worship, prayer, biblical teaching, fellowship, and spiritual formation.
Chapel services are held three days each week, and attendance is required for all students. Students are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects reverence for God, respect for others, and the Christian values of the College.
Chapel Leadership and Dress
Students who lead worship, preach, teach, or participate in other forms of chapel ministry are expected to serve with humility, dignity, and preparedness. Men should dress neatly and avoid open shoes and T-shirts when leading or preaching. Ladies are expected to wear clothing of appropriate length and style, ensuring that their attire is neat, modest, and well presented.
Chapel is more than a scheduled activity; it is a time when the Masinga community gathers to worship God, hear His Word, and be shaped for faithful service.
Bible Studies
Bible study is an essential part of the spiritual formation and theological training at A.I.C. Masinga Bible College. Students are encouraged not only to learn about Scripture academically but also to develop the discipline of studying, understanding, applying, and living out God's Word.
All students are required to participate in their assigned Bible study groups three days each week. These groups provide opportunities to study Scripture together, discuss its meaning and application, ask questions, encourage one another, and grow in understanding.
Seeing Jesus Together
As part of its commitment to spiritual formation, A.I.C. Masinga Bible College has partnered with Seeing Jesus Together (SJT). Through this partnership, students participate in the CULTIVATE daily programme as well as other SJT programmes.
Through Bible study, CULTIVATE, and SJT programmes, students are encouraged to develop a lifelong habit of engaging with Scripture and to become faithful students, practitioners, and teachers of God's Word.

Student Ministries
Student Ministries is a vital component of the educational programme and overall experience at A.I.C. Masinga Bible College. The programme brings together classroom learning, spiritual formation, and practical ministry experience.
Through Student Ministries, students are given opportunities to put theological knowledge into practice, develop ministry skills, discover their spiritual gifts, and grow in their understanding of God's calling.

Work cooperatively with pastors, church leaders, councils, and ministry teams.

Community Life
A.I.C. Masinga Bible College recognizes that theological education takes place not only in the classroom but also within a Christian community. Students from different backgrounds learn, worship, serve, and grow together as they prepare for Christian ministry.
New Student Orientation
New Student Orientation is held at the beginning of each academic year, a few days before classes commence. It introduces students to the College, its programmes, expectations, policies, facilities, leadership, faculty, staff, and community life.
Orientation is mandatory for all new students. Students who miss any part of the orientation programme are required to complete the missed sessions before they are permitted to begin attending classes.
Orientation marks the beginning of a student's journey into the Masinga community—a community committed to learning, growing, serving, and preparing together for Christian ministry.
Student Council
The Student Council is the elected executive body representing the student community. Officials are elected during the third term to serve during the following academic year. The Council promotes the spiritual, social, academic, and general welfare of students and serves as an important link between the student body and the College Administration.
Responsibilities of the Student Council
- Promote the spiritual, social, academic, and general welfare of students.
- Encourage unity, cooperation, discipline, and responsible Christian conduct.
- Represent student concerns and recommendations to the College Administration.
- Participate in appropriate College committees and activities.
- Encourage cleanliness and proper care of the College environment and facilities.
- Work closely with the Office of the Deputy Principal/Dean of Students in addressing student matters.
Care of College Facilities
The Student Chairman and Chairlady have particular responsibility for ensuring that classrooms and dormitories are properly secured during mid-term and end-of-term breaks. Relevant keys should be returned to the College Secretary as required.

Extracurricular Activities
Students are encouraged to participate in activities that promote physical well-being, fellowship, teamwork, creativity, leadership, and personal development.

Balancing Activities and Academic Responsibilities
Participation should never compromise academic responsibilities, spiritual formation, Student Ministries, or other duties assigned by the College. Students are expected to maintain standards in academic performance, Christian conduct, required attendance, ministry participation, completion of responsibilities, and respect for people and property.
At Masinga, students are encouraged to learn, worship, serve, play, and grow together as they prepare for faithful Christian ministry.
Safety & Security
Security and Prohibited Weapons
A.I.C. Masinga Bible College is committed to maintaining a safe, peaceful, and secure environment in which students, faculty, staff, and visitors can learn, worship, work, and fellowship without fear.
The unauthorized or unlawful possession, display, or use of firearms, explosives, or other weapons is strictly prohibited on College premises. This includes any object used, intended, or threatened to be used to cause bodily injury, threaten another person, or damage College or personal property, as well as any other weapon prohibited by applicable law or College policy.
Violations will be addressed in accordance with College policies and applicable law. Every member of the community is encouraged to exercise responsibility, respect others, report genuine security concerns to the appropriate College authorities, and care for College property.

Student Housing
A.I.C. Masinga Bible College is a residential institution, and student accommodation is an important part of the College community. Dormitories provide students with an environment where they can live, study, fellowship, and grow together.
- Student accommodation: Dormitories are provided for enrolled students.
- Guests: Guests are not permitted to reside in College dormitories.
- Dormitory quiet hours: All dormitory lights should be switched off by 10:00 p.m. at the latest, except where otherwise authorized.
Students are expected to maintain cleanliness, order, respect, and responsible conduct within the dormitories and to care for College property.
Student housing is more than accommodation; it is part of the community through which students learn to live, serve, and grow together.
Practical Ministry
At A.I.C. Masinga Bible College, theological education is connected with practical Christian service. Practical Ministry forms an important part of the student's training and preparation for effective service in the Church and wider community.
Weekend Ministry
Students are paired and assigned to different local churches where they participate in weekend ministry throughout their period of training. Depending on local needs, they may participate in preaching, teaching, evangelism, Bible studies, children's and youth ministry, worship and prayer, discipleship, visitation, fellowship, and other church activities.
Evangelistic Campaigns
Students participate in Evangelistic Campaigns, gaining practical experience in evangelism, preaching, discipleship, and Christian witness while participating in the Great Commission beyond the College campus.
Termly Practical Ministry
At the end of each academic term, during the last week before examinations, students, faculty, and staff minister together in one of the College's partner churches. This strengthens the relationship between the College and partner churches while providing students with practical ministry experience.
Learning Through Ministry
Through local church involvement, evangelistic campaigns, and termly ministry, students learn that effective ministry requires more than academic knowledge. It requires faith, character, compassion, discipline, teamwork, humility, and dependence upon the Holy Spirit.
